The founder, Peter Fraterdeus, has a great portfolio of thoughtful and finely printed designs. No details in the production process are skimmed over in their work. Mr. Bob Pointkowski emailed me yesterday and pointed me to the lovely work of Mrs. Jennifer Farrell’s Starshaped Press, located in Chicago. When I was first looking through the site, I assumed some of the work was photopolymer plates, because of the large vareity in typefaces. Inky Lips is a Dallas letterpress shop run out of Casey McGarr’s garage. Their work makes wonderful use of hand carved illustrations.
